The "Vallès Symphony Orchestra", "Chamber Song Choir", "Friends of The Opera" and the "Choral Belles Arts" showed up
at the town square of Sabadell for an uplifting performance of the "Ode to Joy" by Ludwig van Beethoven.
"Ode to Joy" is the final movement of Beethoven's 9th Symphony composed in 1823. It is based on a poem written by German poet and philosopher Friedrich Schiller in 1785, celebrating the brotherhood and unity of all mankind.
Sabadell is located 20 km (12 miles) north-west of Barcelona.
