Mike rescued Kyle when her family rejected her as a young gosling.  Kyle now follows Mike around town and the two often go out on lake together.  On several occasions, Mike drove Kyle to a faraway location and left her there, only to return home and find that she”™d flown right back to his front door.  Not only did she prove that she wanted to spend her life with him as his pet goose, but she had a killer sense of direction, too!
