Mother and son Mel and Jamie impressed the judges and audience of Britain's Got Talent 2016 with their performance and qualified for the semi-finals.

Here is what the judges had to say:  David Walliams: 'There is a very special bond isn't there between mother and son? You made a beautiful song even more beautiful'.  Alesha Dixon: 'Jamie, I think you sing with so much passion, which is lovely to see'.  Amanda Holden: 'Being a parent, I think it's important to give your child space to breath, and you literally did not take your eyes off him. It was beautiful'.  Simon Cowell: 'I thought it was terrific ' hearing that you're, Mel, a singer, I thought you were going to really dominate the song.  Actually, you were very cool in the way you let Jamie take the lead.  It was his song.  But I think your harmonies improved the song'.
