The 10.6-inch Microsoft Surface RT, will go on sale on October 26, 2012 and will be priced starting at $499 for the 32GB version without Touch Cover (or $599 with the Touch Cover).  The 9.3mm thin tablet weighs 1.5lbs and includes a built-in kickstand and a "vapor-deposited" magnesium case.   More: pcworld.com
