On 29th May 1987, a huge festival was held on the island of Ibiza, at a venue called Ku Club.  Titled 'Ibiza '92', the event was held to celebrate Spain hosting the Olympic Games in 1992.  Along with many other artists, Freddie Mercury appeared with Montserrat Caballé to showcase the song they had been working on - seventeen months before it was released as a single.   Freddie Mercury (1946 - 1991) is regarded as one of the greatest singers in the history of rock music.  He was known for his flamboyant stage persona and four-octave vocal range.  Montserrat Caballé (1933 -2018) was a Spanish operatic soprano.  She sang a wide variety of roles, but is best known as an exponent of the works of Verdi, Rossini, Bellini, and Donizetti.
