Experts (such as Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson) call the Honda FCX Clarity Hydrogen car one of the most important cars ever launched. The world's first production fuel cell vehicle gets an equivalent of 68 mpg, has a very quiet engine and only emits water from the exhaust. (contined below)
The fuel cell stack produces 100KW of power - enough electricity to power 10 homes.
The car is currently available on lease in Japan and California to people who live near hydrogen filling stations.
