More than half of the total length of the German autobahn network has no speed limit, about one third has a permanent limit, and the remaining parts have a conditional limit.  Speeds must be adapted to the road, traffic, visibility and weather conditions as well as the personal skills and characteristics of the vehicle and load.  Radim Passer drove a Bugatti Chiron on the German Autobahn near Wittenberg in July 2021 and recorded it on his GoPro camera.  Radim says:  "The section of the A2 was a 3 lane, 10 km straightaway with a light descent in the middle, so there was visibility along the whole stretch.  Safety was a priority, so the circumstances had to be safe to go."
