"The idea behind the technique is for focus and distance to be something the viewer can experience. It also communicates the constant heat and humidity that hits you whenever you leave the comfort of air conditioning in Singapore." (Keith Loutit)
The name 'Singapore' is derived from the Malay word 'Singapura' (Lion City). Lions probably never lived there; the beast seen by Sang Nila Utama, who founded and named ancient Singapore, was most likely a tiger.   Music by Sepia Productions.
