Born July 4, 1982 in Kiev (Ukraine) she began artistic gymnastics at the age of three.  At the age of 18 she participated at the Sydney 2000 Summer Olympics and went on to win the Gold Medal at the World Championships in 2001.  From 2005 to 2007 she performed for Cirque du Soleil in the show "Corteo."  She performed for the French TV show Le Plus Grand Cabaret Du Monde (The World's Greatest Cabaret) hosted by Parick Sebastien in 2008.
