Jack was confident that his long term girlfriend Teresa would accept his proposal, so he decided to make it a truly memorable moment. He used the location of the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston, Massachusetts since that was the same place that they had gone for their first date. Teresa had no idea what was happening as people who were strangers started handing her a single flower at a time. She guessed it was some kind of fraternity stunt. Three hundred carnations later, she gets a proposal which made this a special event to share with friends and family.
