Over the course of 11 months, a Triumph Spitfire sports car enthusiast from the UK took over 3,000 pictures while working on rebuilding its engine.

He documented his project so that he could put all the parts back together again correctly. Then he realised that all these images could be made into a cool animation.   The Triumph Spitfire is a small English two-seat sports car, introduced at the London Motor Show in 1962. The vehicle was based on a design produced in 1957 by Italian designer Giovanni Michelotti. The Spitfire was a worldwide success, continuing in production for 18 years.
