Real Estate Prices - Roller Coaster

U.S. housing real estate prices from 1890 - 2007 - adjusted for inflation - plotted as a roller coaster simulation ride. (The years are periodically shown in the lower right hand corner of the video). This simulation is based on a graph by Yale University economist Robert Shiller, who made one of the great calls in stock market history. His book Irrational Exuberance hit the shelves in March 2000, the same month the tech-stock bubble struck a sharp pin.
