The Morpheus Lander soared 467 feet (142 meters) high on Feb. 10, 2014 before jaunting sideways and making a precise target landing.
The goal of Morpheus is to figure out landing technologies on other planets at a low cost.  Morpheus landers will be able to land 1,100 pounds (500 kg) of cargo on the Moon.  The project is named after Morpheus, the Greek god of dreams. Wiki
