Cockatiels take a lot of patience to train. Most people say that they successfully trained their bird in months. Birds have short attention spans, so keep the sessions to about 3 to 5 minutes and use lots of praise. And of course, don’t say anything around them you don’t want repeated as usually that is the thing they learn most easily. ;)
